Come on now... you wouldn't understand, Chas. It's a Philly thing.
I had the same exact reaction to Doc Rivers' comments about how a mere 10-man rotation was inappropriate for his team. Reading that quote last week was like hearing a drunk driver argue in court that a few beers before driving home doesn't impair him that much. Or, more directly, the guy who claims he can fly and jumps off a building to prove it. Doc Rivers, everybody!
If it were possible to invert the expression "crazy like a fox," the result would apply to Doc. I propose "wily like a drooling lobotomy patient."
