The Knicks will have a roster spot open when they cut Allan Houston using their Allan Houston Exception. Maybe not cap room, but a roster spot anyway. And really, how much cap would Shawn Kemp take up at this point in his life? Not as much cap space as floor space, that's for sure. He's at least four parquet tiles' worth of basketball player right now.
