1. One of the best goals I've ever seen. That's the one people will always remember Ovechkin for, kinda like how Bruins fans remember Cam Neely's spin-o-rama against Ottawa.

3. According to Scott Burnside of ESPN.com, when asked who his favorite player in the NHL was, Ovechkin replied, "Me." He's a man after Jaromir Jagr's heart.
4. I claimed ownership of Vech way way back in October. He's mine... my own... my preciousssssss. Seriously though, he's worth a man-crush or two.
5. Don't forget Eric Staal. He looks more like The Shermanator than a point-a-game hockey center, but he's why the Hurricanes are the best team in hockey right now.
