I'm not expecting a Cy Young caliber season or anything. He's still a kid and a lot can go wrong over a season (not to mention a career).
But I'll bask in it for now. And for all the doubters, just because of a little sophomore slump (ahem...Simmons...still prefer Weaver the younger?), eat a bag. Long live the King.
P.S. King, incidentally, is the name of his dog. God fucking bless him.

Strange, here I thought the name of his dog was Boston. His LAP dog.
Felix's awesome night aside, you gotta love Daisuke dominating Ichiro utterly last night. Owned him his first two at bats, then put him on his ass with some chin music. Fantastic stuff.

From Buster Olney's ESPN blog:
• Felix Hernandez has faced 58 batters in his two starts, and among those, he's generated:
• Twenty-eight groundball outs.
• Eighteen strikeouts.
• One infield pop-out.
• Four walks.
• Three flyball outs.
• Four hits to the outfield.
So that means seven of the 58 batters he's faced this year have hit the ball to the outfield -- and only one has mustered an extra-base hit, for an .075 batting average.
